If you guys need a tester then I'm ready and willing. I suspect you've not got a suitable device for testing after reading Simplicity Facebook page about the issue ;)

I thought I read somewhere that they can contact Granite Devices, but I don't know if they have already done that, if not we will have to wait or find out for ourselves :confused::confused::confused::confused:

It goes deeper that that, Sim-Plicity do not use Granite and they are all out of commission as well as others.

Got Alex H's attention on Raceroom Discord and he asked for log files like the ones we supplied here previously. I supplied mine. I've asked if this is still being treated as a device ID problem as we pretty much demostrated here that this is not what's causing the problem. All our wheels are detected and work fine to steer the cars. Just no FFB.

What do you mean they don't work with Granite Devices, as far as I know all direct drive systems work with Granite Devices except DD1 DD2 and accufors :oops::oops::oops:

We use Sim-plicity's own firmware and drivers.

Not sure on the date they changed, but had mine over 18 months, Firmware has been great and updated several times since first release, this is the first issue I've had, nothing but good feedback on the Facebook page from other users, that's why this has come as a shock.

Ok well to know, I had bought my first OSW there, somewhere in the year 2014/2015 average 20 Nm under Mmos 2014 still had to build everything myself, but I learned a lot during the years in Raceroom, it could almost resolve the problem after a few hours
but when I see now how many people have a problem here, I can hardly believe this:(:(:(:(

same problem here (but I found back my DLC) : no FFB with my DD
my DD is Frex DD Simwheel with MMoS - I didn't notice input lag but w/o FFB it's hard to say

    Hi guys,
We've got a workaround that re-enables FFB on our wheels for R3E. However it is currently a multistep process and we are looking for testers who are comfortable poking around the Windows registry and editing rcs & xml files to ensure we cover all corner cases.

Unfortunately, this only works with our current generation of wheels.
MMOS based wheels will still need a R3E hotfix.

Please send an email to support_at_sim-pli.city with "R3E workaround testing for <your wheel model>" as the subject and we'll get this started.

Ah that got me excited until the 2nd paragraph. Hope it sorts this for some of you and hopefully a sign S3 are on the right track now.

Just to keep y'all updated: Looks like there's some progress and the devs have identified a possible cause for this issue.
As far as I can tell it sounds like a proper fix might require some driver-side adjustments, but they are working on a game-side workaround for the time being which should be with you asap.

    Hoy Christian,

this would work for all systems under Mmos 2014, Simucube1 and already third party OSW biuld, because I had understood at Granite Devices that their door is open to any question whatsoever:):):)
