So, following todays update which mentioned fixing of the gap timing issue, it seems this has not actually been fixed. I just connected to a random server in broadcast mode and it was obvious, almost immediately It makes commentating on live streams, rather difficult. See the gap between P1 and P2: Also, these a few seconds apart (with very little change in driver actual positioning) I get that its not so obvious looking at screenshots, but there's plenty of vids out there showing the issue, just wanted to mention that its still an issue. I have also connected to ranked servers, issue is still clearly present
OH NO! I was really hoping this was fixed. It's making commentary borderline impossible with meaningful analysis.
A video example, watch P3 and P4's timings from 34:52 for about 20s. There's a tonne of examples in the vid tbh, just pinpointed one that's clear as day, even though you aren't seeing the cars, its pretty obvious its broken.
Strange, but tonights live stream, the timings where actually fine for a 1 hour race, with 26 drivers. I haven't changed much, I did clear the BrowserData\Cache folder, not sure if that relates. Guess time will tell
Ok, so no, its still incorrect. I'm unsure as to why it appears to work ok sometimes and not others. Nothing at all had changed between two of our races, one on Saturday 8th and one on Tuesday 11th, aside from driver counts. Yet, the race on the 8th was fine, whereas the race on the 11th, timings where again, all over the place. Two vid links for reference, if needed. Code: All fine: https://youtu.be/MrMykxXpy4w?t=4626 See P2, who was about 25s behind and not over 3mins. https://youtu.be/x_DspIs9TzM?t=3118
