Now they changed the FFB quite drastically for Beta 4, it is much closer to AMS1/rF2 in general feeling. It's good, but a bit too harsh for my taste, some effects feel overexaggerated here and there.
Try lowering LFB for less pronounced effects on the road, try lower FX for lower effects like slip, drivetrain and so on. This has changed a bit now. Also overall gain is pretty strong now.
It was indeed suggested by Renato to lower (Edit: Gain, NOT LFB) but it feels loose at the center on straights, have to raise LFB to 50 and Gain at 70 (though good enough mid turns). Created new AMS2 Document files already.
I bought the game, I was impressed with the force feed back. Other than turning down the gain to 65% the default settings were fine, maybe as good or better than acc.
The whole FFB situation around AMS 2 just ilustrates how subjective FFB is. You have people stating that it is basically unchanged from PCars 2, to people claiming it is up there with the bests. Either way, 27 euros is too good of a price to pass, so hopefully during the weekend I will have time to form my own oppinion
It adds to the situation, that is is definetly harder to dial in good FFB in AMS2, than 1. I can have pretty bad feel for the cars or pretty awesome feel, depending on wheel settings and ingame settings...
And has good FFB too once you have spent the necessary time to dial in the right things in game and with a proper custom file And no i dont want to start controversy in this thread
After the content in RRE I can't make myself drive Reiza cars. Where are the official championships? Porsche, BMW, Audi? The tracks look beautiful, the graphics are very nice, HUD is super. RAIN! I like S3 content way is better. I dream about the same graphics in RRE as in AMS2. That would be perfect.
You see, for me this is why I love Reiza content. It is unique, those cars mentioned can be found in every sim. AMS for me is a nice change of pace. Driving an old stock car is totally different experience than a modern GT car. Also the more exotic content like Formula Truck, or Copa Classic are tons of fun. Also AMS 1 has the best selection of formula cars, from 60s up to modern times, with full fields.
