In the text they speak of "all homologated TCR cars"... And since r3e is the only sim with a complete grid, I would think so.

I just saw a video. They're using a mod for assetto Corsa from drivingitalia. Seems...odd.

TCR has nothing to do with the FIA WTCR.

But it's ridiculous for a official series to use a unlicensed mod.

I know TCR and FIA WTCR are unrelated so we can't assume the platform would be Raceroom but I really hope it is. Having all homologated TCR cars in the game would be brilliant.

Australia's eSports Cup uses iRacing and the Audi RS3 LMS but that's also not tied to TCR.

I did see that video on Touring Car Times last night, it just seems very strange to me for TCR to sanction an official championship using a mod, I would have thought this might cause licensing issues. It would also surprise me to see Assetto Corsa release this officially as I thought their next projects were GT4 and British GT.

Maybe I read too much into the statement "We are evaluating two or three different options and we’ll unveil the detailed sporting regulations in the coming days."
