Can this be controlled using a tablet using local host simular to how spectator/broadcast works?

 

Yes, but not localhost.. that is local to the machine hosting it only.. you need to use the machines IP address or if on an external network, the wan ip address with port forwarding.

 

Thanks I sorted this part out. I'm using my tablet to control the directing side of things but it come up as a list of cars no camera control

 

Is there a way of changing the "raceroom" logo to your own logo?

 

Yes in assets/ overlay there is a folder inside with a raceroom logo just swap it out for your own.

 

Cant remember the entire folder path but it should be in the area mentioned

 

Is it possible to have someone remotely (over public IP) to control stream? i tried forwarding port(9090) to my public IP and access it from another network over internet but its not working. Is it possible that app is not accepting anything that`s not from local network?

 

Yes and you can use a phone or tablet as well. Just change localhost:9090 to (your ip):9090 the IP being the one the game and node is running on

 

@Scout just a request, is it possible, that the autodirector can also use the trackmap option from time to time?

Would be nice to see the driver positions on the track, let's say every 10 or 15 minutes

Im using this for the first time. But how do i change camera? I can't seem to be able to. Just change driver.

 

You must have Opponents Cockpits setting in Video Settings in the game enabled to choose other cameras.

 

I can't find a setting like that in game.

EDIT: Found it, but still dosen't work.
Edit 2: I restarted everything and now it works

Where do i press to change camera on the letters? TV, D,C,F,R,W ?

 

Just click the letters with your mouse.

 

I followed the instructions on the readme for install this. But does not work for me. When i enter in localhost:9090 It appears an error message ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

 

Why doesn't the logo overlay widget work anymore? Fresh install and before tweaking anything it was just showing the default R3E logo for all themes, despite the theme files clearly showing it should be using dedicated logos. Ie, ADAC, Mercedes, DTM, etc, all show the R3E logo instead of their own. I tried my own theme, same thing. For some reason the logo overlay setting is being completely ignored.

 

Sorry for late reply, this feature was removed on behalf of raceroom to give better recognition to what game is being used for streams etc.

Scout, in tonight's stream we had problem with cameras. We could n`t switch to driver or cockpit cameras. It was on Laguna Seca wtcc 2013, i tried connecting to other server with other track and class and it worked normally.

Feature request: since we broadcast some of our races on TV channel we have to comply with something called "TV safe zones" which means we have to apply padding to graphics so they wont get cut from screen. For my stream it meant going trough widgets and applying padding to curtain elements so they would move inside TV safe zone. Feature would allow to set padding or margins to whole graphics if that is not to complicated.

 

I think maybe WTCC 2013 cars don't have onboard cameras implemented. A lot of the old content is missing the cameras.

Interesting usage. I'm not sure if i will get the time to work on something like this in the near future, but i will keep it in mind.

 

Thanks, I don`t know how hard it would be to implement sizing in pixels like height and width to whole wrapper that is centered both ways.
