Telemetry SecondMonitor (Timing & status App)

I don't have this problem with my gtx1080 ti and drivers 445.87
I have directX 12

I don't think it has anything to do with directX (or driver), as each windows 10 has directX 12 installed. Most likely there is something in the windows theme that is causing this.
If look really close on the screenshot, you can see that the checkmarks are there, they are just reeeealy faint. And I use the inbuild style for the checkboxes, which uses some widows defined colors.
I will try to override it with a fixed color on the next version and that should, hopefully, fix the issue

I think you've hit the nail on the head!
I use a 'user-defined' theme so tried loading a predefined theme instead... Problem gone!
After having recreated my own theme and loading it the problem did NOT reappear - so I suspect that something had gone astray with my old one... I had created it under Win7 many years ago and it got migrated when I moved up to Win10.

Question for devs, is it possible to use this tool from perspective of team manager/engineer to monitor multiple drivers during race. When I connect to server as spectator, i can switch between drivers and view their speed gear and rpm and time. All other data is not available. I would love to be able to see tire wear and fuel consumption and damage to car? Is this limit of game or is it something that need to be configured?

 

This is not something that can be done with the app right now.

Technically it could be done if all drivers would run an app that would collect the data and send to an app running on the manager/engineer pc. It has to be done this way because detailed information is present in R3E shared memory only for the player. Of course, all the problems with NATs and port forwarding would apply if there would not be a central server rerouting the data.

I image that something crude, that would only show tyre status/damage/fuel (no timing, session information, fuel prediction) for each connected driver could be done fairly quickly (within a week), using this app as a base.

I suddenly got the problem that I can't see any session in the loader window, nor in the recent tab, nor in the archived tab. It's like sessions doesn't exist, but the data is in the proper folder.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the game, simhubdash, crewchief and finally secondmonitor, everything works except secondmonitor.

May you help please?

I can see the Archived sessions now, but still can't see the Recent sessions (they are in the folder from the previous installation)

looks like the session.xml file in there is corrupted.

If you i.e. want to move the whole Car Information cluster right, just click on the appropriate column, then on the "Right" button, and apply

 

@Winzarten Why does it crash using a monitor attached to the onboard GPU.
I have 1 monitor on the onboard GPU and the game monitor on a GTX 1060.

 

I don't know Does it crashes on start, or when you try to move the window?

i am having trouble getting this to work in assetto corsa. i have downloaded the exe and installed that. i have moved the files it says to move from the install dictionary to assetto corsa game files and have enabled it in the game/content manager and it isnt working, can i get a step by step on how to install and get it properly working. thanks
