With no racing at the moment, I've been taking the opportunity to watch some old 90s super touring BTCC and German STW Cup races. I'd love to see some super touring cars make the jump into RaceRoom - BTCC is probably unrealistic due to the number of manufacturers and car models involved but the STW 1997 season might work well as Peugeot, BMW, Audi, Opel, Nissan, Honda and Alfa Romeo all have vehicles licenced in game already.
Great idea in the meantime you can race those cars in Gtr2. There is a fabulous mod with STW and Btcc cars ✌️
I think Aussie, Scandinavian and British TCR car/track packs would be great, and I'll bet S3 would love to do them.
How about some fictional V8 Supercars cars? Pretty sure the licence for the V8SC is not free or that plus expensive. AMS2 have one, BUT I’m very confident RRE could whip up something fantastic with them.
After all the time thats passed and not seeing the Volkswagen ID.R added to the shop. I wanna switch my votes from "V8 supercars Australia" to the Volkswagen ID.R, Formula E Gen2 or the 2020 Jaguar I-pace eTrophy series.
They are constantly updating it, it drives really well and the added DRS Function is really nice Greetings
I'd wish for more cars to compliment the NSU TTS like Mini (enough liveries to have a Mini Cup!) Abarth 1000 Autobianchi A112 Simca 1000 Renault 5 (remember the R5 Cup?) VW Käfer (Beetle) Fiat 850 Abarth
In order: (V8)Supercars BTCC Ginetta (all the touring car support categories) National Hot Rods (Short Oval....with tracks!) IndyCar
Don't want to sound as a weeb or something but remember this thing for rFactor? This car is in Assetto Corsa and recently I can't get enough of it. It's light, small and packs about 200 horses. Did a race in AC today at Zand and after the rubber got comfy warm, I basically stuck to 4th and 3rd gear, even for tighter corners, just extending the line to keep up speed. Also so so much door to door close racing with the AI. For a not that fast car the sense of speed was also a pretty big thing, definitely felt it more than with an open wheeler. With Raceroom's more practical FFB and superb sounds this would be such a blast to race. Too bad Toyota has been kind of an ass recently with allowing licenses.
I drive a Polo GTI Cup and sure i want to drive it in RR, those small Cup cars are so much fun, like a Mini, Polo... Some GT1 cars like the Murcielago (ohhh that sound in RR would be awesome)
