    Mission accomplished, S3S?

The only missing track right now. 1 track to do, and we could run the complete season. And PLEASE create a new ruleset for DTM 2020!

My joke about the PTP button brings up question xD

Why are DRS and PTP not seperately?
DTM cars can use both indipendent from each other, so this doesn't makes any sense? Or am I missing something?

Yep, this wasn't the case until now. All cars we have so far featured either DRS or PTP, never both, so this solution was the most intuitive. Guess we'll have to split those now..

Our 2013-16 DTM cars don't have PTP (unless I've missed it) so it makes sense to share a button.

If the new DTM cars have both then, yes, we'll need a separate control.

    edit: beaten like a dog

Talking about extra buttons, does somebody know if the (new?) ALS feature is gonna be implemented in Raceroom?

Yesterday I saw a twitch stream from Rene Rast, where he was walking on the Nürburgring and commented the DTM practice session. Then his teammate drove past and Rene said, "Ah, he's going into the pits now, he's switched off his ALS, I can hear it."

    ALS = Anti Lag System
It's there to prevent any possible turbo lag and you get full power as soon as you hit the gas pedal.
    (has a very nice sound)

It's also a button on their steering wheel

at 04:55 you can hear it
and at 22:54 he's talking about the ALS (in german)

Edit: Asked this on Discord, got this answer:
Too early to answer this. We're only working on the art right now.
physics-wise, we're busy on some... other stuff

So yeah, let's wait and see xD

If there is no turbo lag, you can practically just adjust an N.A. engine file to be a "fake turbo" :D

Well, I don't know why they switch it off for pitting in the first place. Maybe to reduce flames from the exhaust in the pitlane. But I don't think we need a button for this as there is no reason in a sim to switch ALS off at any time.

It's actually just a system to force backfires to keep the turbo spinning while coasting. Nothing too special or new and quite common these days among racecars I think. The BMW M8 GTE for example has a very prominently audible ALS:

A more detailed description of the whole process can be found on Wikipedia.
    In English.
    In German.

We could also leave them together as one assignment and make it a 50:50 chance that it activates one or the other... :D

Yes that's probably the case, wouldn't make sense to turn it off, maybe for fuel saving, but who wants to do that ? :D

I can't wait to hear that sound, that's gonna be awesome in raceroom

In my opinion, awesome with bikes but a bit boring with cars.

I guess it depends. This drive around Assen was surely more nerve-wrecking than boring...
