Hello, Always when i ask simracers "why are you dont play raceroom" they ansfer: "No competition", "multiplayer death (only some cars/tracks not counting those f2p)", "Ranked system death", "this is just sandbox without goal" and because of this they dont have goal to train skills/tracks in this game. As everyone knowns, ranked system isnt enought populated, and this is sad, because 30% of gamers are achievers who need these features. Games like simracing are only for explorers or achievers, we cant find there enought socializer (i known, Iracing have enought) or killer content. So run ranked system is very important for growing in this game. My suggestion i think is preety easy to do. Make trackday ranked servers. This servers will be online whole day and most time there will be practice mode. this practice mode will end, starting qualify and race on primetime hours per continent (for example look at Valley of death timmers https://www.gloriavictisgame.info/calendar/ (eaglewood = EU, aquilla = US, dukla = Asia, Monteverde = brasil etc.) There should be few servers reputatniobased, for newbies or better drivers. It is worth thnking about bigger rating rewards for winners than in casual ranked. I bet these servers will be everytime full on racetime and people will have goal to practice skills/track/car which will be on today trackday. Everyone will knowns when to log in to have fun race with goal. Leadeship challange system is death, it suck because is separated from real laptimes records and noone have goal to use this (This should count every proper lap per user, not only from leadership challange button). Ranked is needed.
Im pretty sure, resource wise it would be better to host other scheduled race on a server instead of hosting there practice mode for hours- most people would jump in on the very last moment anyway and with schedule, people would be able to see what to practice beforehand and when/where to join
This schedule is core in this system. I just noticed that iRacing had very slimary system to my suggestion.
