    What's the differences in the leaderboards "launch event" link in the upper right corner and the black "challenge" link on the far right of the driver's name on the "leaderboard" pages? When should a driver use which link?

    Launch event does what name suggest, but challenge give you an option to race against ghost of challenged drivers (if you enable ghost in race menu).
    Launch event= time attack
    Challenge= time attack with ghost

    Maybe it's yours. When you press "Challenge" you get this drivers' ghost/raceline.

    So maybe, I am driving against myself?

    What is "leaderboards"?
    What is "leaderboard Challenge"?

    in leaderboards you view leaderboards
    in leaderboards challenge you launch time attack mode to score time in leaderboards
    (why dont you just click it and see for yourself? :p)

    Sticking out your tongue at someone is encouragement? That is sarcasm and offensive in the US.

    Look behind the obvious...see the smile behind the tounge. And maybe not all of us...like me...are from the US. I wouldnt be offended by a little digital tounge sticking out a cute collection of pixels.
