    I'm looking for a minibox with just these two, ignition and engine start. (No I can't build this I have two left hands xD)
    Does anybody know a place where something like this gets sold? I always find this combination with a key starter.

    @HomieFFM
    I can help you out if you want. :)

    Here's the stuff I would use for your button box:
    Case 4*9*11cm 5,50€
    Engine start button 7,50€
    Toggle switch 4,50€
    USB controller board 26€
    Carbon foil 4D for front cover 0,00€
    1 additional push button 0,00€

    The carbon foil and the additional push botton are free because I have some left. Not included yet is the mounting for the USB board. If the holes are M3 I have some screws and nuts left but if they're M2.5 I need to buy them (maybe 5€ or so). And you need a USB cable.

    These are the cheapest parts I found on ebay. The final price would be 45 - 50€ for the parts (depending if we need M2.5 screws and nuts or not) + 5€ for shipping with DHL.
    (Of course you can choose premium parts like fancy Knitter buttons, a Bodnar USB board and a better looking case but that would easily double the price :D)

    I can drill some holes in the case for mounting the box to your rig. Just tell me how you want to mount it. If you want to use the linked start button you can choose the LED colour. If you want the additional push button you can choose between a red, green or blue cap (if you want another colour like white, black or yellow I would need to buy a new button).

    Interested?

    Damn thank you, but I think I'm gonna leave it that way, I will just use 2 extra buttons with the streamdeck for ignition and engine start.
    Sorry you did all the work with writing and searching the parts, if I change my mind I will definitely come up to you!
    Sorry and thank you again!

    This shifter seriously looks like a proper piece of gear! Seems robust as hell. Is there any offical site where I could order one? How did you obtain yours? :)

    @Edit
    I think I found it. But the price of over 400€ quickly cooled me down... :p

    The industrial asethetic looks great, and I like the short-throw action.

    I like my Fanatec clubsport, but there's something about it that doesn't feel quite right for the cars I typically use it on such as the 962.

    As above, it's a little pricey though.

    Bit of an odd one today, but I'm bored.

    I recently had a full rejig of my Fanatec V3s, and I also ended up swapping the pedal plates for the curved plastic ones.. I immediately preferred the feel of them, but they had a downside of not being able to heel/toe as well I could before.. It's not something I do often, but enjoy it when I do. ..So I made a wider one:

    Works a treat. :)

    Looks good for the money. I'm interested in an open top wheel as my next purchase, and have half an eye on Turnracing's R20, but it's twice the price before I even start looking at button boxes.

    Honestly had the same rim in mind awhile ago but went for the DimSim in the end, 2 main reasons the price and the size, along with this was designed around the uni hub, this rim is so nice to use and in my eyes is the perfect size for GT racing and other classes as well.

    After selling up over a year ago to concentrate on a different project, lockdown got to me and here I am again. This weekend I'm just finishing my new racing room.

    Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know if Fanatec's button modules could work outside of Fanatec's eco system?
    https://fanatec.com/eu-en/accessories/steering-wheel-accessories/clubsport-button-cluster-pack

    I'm making a couple of assumptions here, but I'm thinking they're ultimately just 3x momentary buttons in a custom housing.. It looks like there's 4 wires which I'm guessing are 3x open and 1x shared common.. If that is the case, they could be simply re-wired to plumb into a standard USB board?

    I'm digging around for seperate components (paddles, buttons, wheel, etc) to play with a custom build, and those little clusters fit the bill perfectly for a reasonable cost.
