20th December: Road Americas Hurry Downs with the FrUS
Whats so special about some sharp, 90 degree turns? Answer: elevation changes. After exiting the hairpin, you go up a hill and have to face a 90 degree left hander before you even see it. After this blind turn, you go downhill which makes it tricky for breaking. The following right hander is fast, but not at all flat out. The last turn, leading into the Caroussel, is slower than you think. You'll often lock up by misjudging it. A FrUS car seems fitting for this American challenge. Be cautious with the turbo-it might bite when you don't expect it to do so.
    Have fun!

21st December: Imolas Acque Minerale with the Porsche 962C Team Joest
Imola is infamous for the tragic death of Ayrton Senna. But it is also a really fun track to drive! Each chicane got its own character, own flow. And if you drive downhill where you have to almost trailbreak to get the fast right and the slower right correct, you're right at Acque Minerale. Narrowed down but chicaneless again, you can re-live the thrill of good old Imola, which first started as a street track. And an old Group C Beast which is able to climb curbs and powerful enough to handle almost everything is more than enough to have the time of your life here. Have fun!

22nd December: Sepang Turns 9-14 (aka Sector 3) with the P1's
The last advent's day of the 4 deserves a special combination:
Called the first modern racing circuit of the 21st century, Sepang International Circuit opened in 1999. Designed by Hermann Tilke, the track featured many interesting corner types. But, as Lewis Hamilton says, the track really comes alive in the last sector. A series of closing corners and some almost flat out turns make up a section that might destabilize your car or make you run wide. Nailing every turn is extreme on the edge and extreme satisfying. As Christmas is approaching faster than you think, take one of the fastest cars in R3E: The P1 cars, including the DMD and Mistral fictional cars as well as the Audi LMP1, are fast and loud at the same time. My favourite is the loud V12 of the DMD. Are you brave enough to tackle the curbs? Have fun!

23rd December: Bilster Berg (Mausefalle-Steilwand-Bilster Kuppe) with the Audi TTRS VLN
What to do on the day before christmas? Maybe take a little break from all trouble and hop in a Car that was designed to be fast on the Nordschleife?
Yeah, better drive the small brother of it: Bilster Berg is compact but offers almost the same fun as the worlds most famous track. My favourite part of it is the Mausefalle along with the next corners. Blind entry into an opening left hander? A steep downhill curve leading into a crest where a blind, fast uphill curve is located? -Check! Bilster Berg sometimes does really feel like a rally stage, as Walter Röhrl had his hands on the layout. Bilster Berg is fun, so try not to understeer in your TTRS VLN.
Be ready for a special surprise tomorrow!
    Have fun!

24th December: Nürburgring Nordschleife with the FrX-17
Was it obvious that this track would be top spot on this list? And was it obvious that this Formula Car would be the car to drive? Well, maybe. But today, we're not focussing on a special part of the track. Here are my 3 favourite sections of the Nordschleife.

Hatzenbach: A S-Section that is fast, medium and slow in one. And it is extremely tricky, as Nordschleifes curbs aren't meant for touching in this car. Carrying the momentum through the section is difficult, but important as there is a straight after this complex. The name originates from the river (‘Bach’) floating next to the track. But where did that river get the name from? ‘Hatzen’ comes from ‘Hetzen’ and means to hound. As the Nürburgring is set in the Eiffel Forests, it is believed that the Hatzenbach got its name from coursing wild animals with dogs. These often ended at this creek.

Kallenhardt: Spiegelkurve and miss-hit-miss are part of this section. Fast parts combined with slow corners that require perfect traction and, maybe, navigation skills as most of these corners are blind. Especially in a FrX-17, you just enjoy the fact that the triple-right passage is easy flat out. No more lifting off for now! Kallenhardt is the name the crest you are driving around at this passage. ‘Hardt’ means wooded crest. The origin of ‘Kallen’ is ‘kahl’, which means clear, as there aren’t any trees on top of it. Spiegelkurves name is based on the fact that drivers broke their side mirrors on the exit of that corner. The hedges had some metal in it after the races…

Pflanzgarten: Fast Esses, some dips and crests with jumps: Pflanzgarten got it all. Better situated in a rally stage than on a circuit, Pflanzgarten I+II (Or Stefan Bellof-S, named after the driver who set the lap record that would last more than 30 years. He also survived a heavy crash on this site.) are famous for the sparks flying in the night-time during the annual 24h race. The name Pflanzgarten means ‘Plant-Garden’. The landlords living in the castle Nürburg had their meadows and fields here. Driving the FrX, you won’t lift from the ground or your throttle, it is flat and fast all the way through.

This is the end of this year’s advent calendar. ‘Raceroom: Corners and Cars’ featured some epic combinations to try, some more difficult than others. But most important, it featured some fearless simracers, who tried to race each combination day by day. Thank you very much and have a wonderful Christmas time! You deserve a special gift for the Holy Night. Thanks to @J-F Chardon, the first 30 of you get a redeem code for the brand-new track in Raceroom: Ningbo. Ningbo International Speedpark hosts the WTCR and some GT-races. It is a very fun track with some corners that are unique:

The ‘Oschersleben Hotel Corner meets Istanbul Park meets Shanghai International Circuit T13’ T7-T9, fast and opening, challenging in every car Raceroom has to offer.

    2019-12-23 1938 0005.jpg
T12-it is a sharp and fast left-hand turn that is far from flat. Be cautious with the track limits on the apex!

The Mini Corkscrew T18-T19 where too much curbs are installed. Fun and bouncy!

And about that Nordschleife question, every part without slow corners is my favorite, since i drive mostly Greenwood there :p You could say entire track up to carousel and then that super long straight (340+km/h ).
Btw do you drive with new damage? Hardcore mix with modern open wheeler and Nords.

Never before have I seen at this forum a regular user with such initative and dedication. An awesome idea of racing calendar as well as its quality. Thank you @Olaf Hülse, thank you @J-F Chardon.

That's the reason I'm staying by RRE and not even looking at other sims. These tiny little enjoyable surprises that happen to us throughout the year :)

Thank you for that great idea and your creative calendar! A joy everyday and some very surprising and challenging combinations I would never have chosen!
On top of that a free track for christmas... Thank you so much, Olaf and sector 3.
I wish all of you simracers your friends and families a merry christmas.
And remember: don't drink and drive... (That's gonna be tough the next few days :p)
    Greetings
    Oli
