Really depends on the car and track, but in general it means the left corners are being taken too rough. Some cars just eat tyres in general tho

Yes, the outer tyres heat up more and most tracks are clockwise biased so the left front tends to heat up the most. You can try softening front suspension, anti roll bar, reducing steering lock front camberm toe in and tyre pressure and see what happens but most cars still go into the red despite this.
