The RX7 SA22C was raced in group 2 as well, but that was maybe a bit later than the Scirocco. And I've been nagging about RX7's for so long I thought I'd bring another wankel to the table this time.
What i like to see on R3E related to cars? Let's have a look at it - Modern LMP cars Even though the P1 and P2 classes that are present ingame drives and sounds nice, i miss some of the actual LMP machinery that is racing nowadays in the world. Maybe a LMP2/LMP3 car or a couple of them would be nice additions to the sim taking in mind that we already have a large GT3 roster and a GTE car as well. DPi class could be another option to be considered. I'm not expecting any LMP1 because of the license and development cost, but maybe a LMP1 non HY like the Rebellion R13 can be added. - More Group C cars! Group C cars are my favourite of all time, and there's plenty of them to choose from. Considering the approach Sector3 made last year, there's some nice Gr.C cars of that era that are not so represented on other sims, like the Sauber C11, the Jaguar XJR14, the Peugeot 905 or even the Lancia LC2, cars that could give R3E a special touch on this loved class. - Modern GT cars In this case, there's not so much to ask, we have lots of GT3, the GT4 class is growing up and we've seen the first GTE car on the game. But, there's some of them missing. The GT3 variants of the Huracan, Ferrari 488 and Aston Martin and the 2018 Bentley Continental are great looking cars. On the GT4 side, some USA machinery like the Chevy Camaro or the Ford Mustang for example, or the Alpine A110. And just to wrap up everything, expanding the GTE grid for having some competition to the 911 RSR. Greetings PS: It's not a car, but having the 2012-2013 liveries of the Audi R18 could be cool, even the HY ones, although the car we have available is the non Hybrid version, but it's the same bodywork
I know the Mazda 787B is represented in other sims, but it would be absolutely necessary to add that too, if expanding the group C. It's an absolutely stunning piece of machinery. (Not that I'm a wankel-buff or anything.)
With the r8 lms gt3 evo coming ill update my list to toyota ts030, 2017-19 gt500 and a 2004 f1 (inspired) car
I think it was Group 2 instead of Group 4, even if the Capri and BMW 3.0 CSL were racing in the same class as the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR in the DRM. At the Le Mans 24 hours, they were entered in the "TS" class (Tourime Spéciale) but the Group 4 cars were entered in the "GTS" (Grand Tourisme Spéciale) class.
- 70's Group 6 2-litre class (Lola, Chevron, TOJ, Osella, Sauber, March...) - 80's Group C2 class (Lola, Mazda, Ecosse, Tiga, Spice...) - 90's FIA GT1 class (Porsche, Mercedes, McLaren, Lotus, Lister, Panoz...)

Speaking of historic content. Some mid 70s NASCAR stuff seems fun. But would love it most fpr the sound.
