    Hello,...

Rookie here... am having a fun time doing my first ranked races.. ( badly)

    Does the track change weekly?
    When/Where is this announced?

I obviously need more practice in advance of the session, So I was hoping to know what the next track will be.

    Thanks!

New combos are announced on thursdays, so never ahead of time. You can find what current combos are on raceroom discord, twitter, in-game, fb and here http://game.raceroom.com/multiplayer-rating/ . Except some special cases, you wont be able to know future combos

I would love though to have the weeks races announced one week before, so you can sit down and relax practising for the tracks and setup the cars.
I need atleast a day or two before committing on a track/car setup, I cannot help myself with these requirements. :)

As a rookie.. and I mean real green... what is the point of not telling me in advance what the track for the next week will be... I am a rookie, I have no skill... I am in the USA, so there are only 2 or 3 people to race against.. it isn't like I gain some massive advantage.

So yeah... R3, please consider letting us rookies know what the next track is...

Do drivers with high rating get blocked from Rookies?

No, but I think most higher ranked drivers don't drive rookies much. It tends to be a bit messy, and as a high ranked player there's not much to gain in terms of ranking, but lot to lose. If you are let's say rating 1700+ player, even if you win in a field of rating 1500 players, you don't get any extra rating. But if you don't win, you can lose a lot. And on rookie server you can lose easily by someone taking you out etc...

Driven quite a few rookie races and honestly haven't had any issue with other drivers...few bumps here and there but rubbing is racing.

I would love to see an iracing ranked system.
6 week season with tracks announced
Use the free content for rookies
Paid content after rookie voted by the community.
    Season point tracking
Incorporate a rating division like they use in the leaderboards
Reward drivers for finishing 5 out of 6 weeks with say 200 VRP

And after every incident-point, subtract that VRP with -1.
In the end you may be in debt to Sector3, and if not paying that debt, you are blocked from ranked races. :D

They would make a fortune with drive through penalty fines right now!
