The DTM extends its YouTube coverage From now on they will also show the free practises on their channel
My Friday and Saturday was spent at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It's an amazing event which I thoroughly enjoyed and I took so many photos. I'd love to post more here but it's getting late so here's a few for the Group 5 fans: ....and a couple for @itsmedavetn ...more to follow when I get time.
Thank you James. I've saved both of those and they will rotate along with my Ferrari F1 pics as desktop backgrounds. I very much appreciate it.
James if you lived in the same city, or hell even in the same country I'd gladly buy the first three or four rounds tonight. Thanks for the amazing pics.
BTW S3S, I so want that Nissan Livery in the game!! Please!! **edited to add If I had a nickel for every time I'd driven that livery around AC's Nordschleife, we'd all be rich.
^^ Right, so when are we getting this car + Brands Hatch GP? He said it was a slice of the Nurburgring after all! So here are some interesting WTCC developments: "Minimum of three" manufacturers working on WTCC bid, one as soon as next year: http://www.touringcartimes.com/2015...ooking-at-joining-the-wtcc-soon-says-ribeiro/ Citroen could leave WTCC after 2016 to concentrate on Formula E: http://www.touringcartimes.com/2015/07/02/citroen-to-leave-either-wtcc-or-wrc-after-2016/
What Seb Loeb did at Pikes Peak is surely impressing but what guys like Ari Vatanen or Walter Röhrl did there almost 30 Years ago is f****** crazy !! Ari Vatanen Pikes Peak - Top speed (on gravel) @PP was 220 km/h (Record by Röhrl =10:47 min) It`s a longer docmentary were he decribes, that riding the Quattro you had to intuitively realize, what the car is doing even before you felt it. "Many drivers talk about how to feel it with their butt , but this car was so fast, that when your butt felt what was going on, it was already too late. It was...well...it was like riding a cannonball" And Walter with 63 on the Quattro S1
2weeks ago Super GT (Japan) had round 3 at a circuit in use since last year in Thailand.. Nice video for sundaymorning, enjoy this spectaculair Multiclass racing! No blue flags in Japan, yet so sportive!
For those who didn't know : Super GT and DTM (later IMSA as well) will merge.. the similarities are obvious already Means there will be cross-continent race battles to watch... http://www.crash.net/dtm/news/219010/1/dtm-class-one-agrees-unified-regulations.html
at this point the class will merge which means the cars will comply by the same regulations they will not actually race each other at this point in time
2017 they will have races together no? One in Japan and one in Germany i believe.. Really looking forward to this unification.. Hoping Imsa follows soon with 3 american Brands! Imagine gt500 corvette cr7, or a ford gt
