There's something around Griffon's Mount to Frog Hollow (Turns 6-8) that jerks the wheel. Tested it with the Alpina and a Prototype so far.

    Hi,

I was just about to post about the same thing. First time it happened, .. my Audi R8s engine died just after hitting it. In fact, I initially thought someone had rear-ended me.

Here's a pic of where the problem area is .. was testing with the Lada, .. definitely something weird there.

    Cheers
    Tom

    Hi,

It looks like we still have the nasty pothole at Bathurst .. :(

Did someone forget to bung it in the Patch (July 7th) .. ;)

    Cheers

Hey, sorry for resurrecting this thread, but, is this close to being fixed yet? Bathurst is the best track and you have the best version short of laser scanning. It's a shame that the track has been left like this for so many months, have to be careful on that corner or turn the FFB down to avoid damaging my hardware. It's almost as if the local council came out and placed one of those metal plates out on the road :)

Strange. I've not noticed it. Is it off the race line?

ps loving the new physics here with my BMW GT2 - 2:01.9

To me The Project CARS version feels a lot more accurate than the R3E version. Just less fun to drive with the kindergarten physics.

no the project cars version is pretty bad(the curbs are wrong the elevation is wrong the famouse turn two doesnt even get the camber change right) although maybe the physics don't do it justice and the camber is better than it feels, racerooms isn't much closer but at least its more intense and they got the important bits right (the dipper, turn 2, forests elbow ect). to be honest iracing is the only game with a picture perfect track, so if you have a spare few hundred dollars sitting around to burn and you want to race on a perfect bathurst check out Iracing.

If raceroom could fix that bump and make a few of the curbs more weathered and improve the AI a bit it it would be my favorite version.

Yes, the hideous pothole is still there. I wonder how complicated it is to fix.
