    Hi Guys,

    After lots of head scratching i have found a bug when selecting my USB audio device as the main output device in Windows 10. This basically crashes the game but does not give any error codes or crash dump files...

    When running the output on NVidia audio the game is completely stable. As soon as i switch device in windows the game closes.

    If i start the game on the USB output the game will load, and after 2mins or so, RRRE64.exe displays as not responding.

    Please let me know if you need any more info from me, I've supplied everything below that i can think of :)

    PC Specs;
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    Aorus B550 Elitev2
    GSkill RipJaws 32GB 3000mhz (4x8gb)
    RTX2060Super FE
    1Tb Samsung M.2 SSD
    2Tb Samsung Evo SSD game drive.

    Audio Device;
    Behringer UMC204HD (USB)

    Audio Driver:
    ASIO4ALL

    Windows;
    Edition Windows 10 Home
    Version 21H1
    OS build 19043.1052
    Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0

    What if you run both at the same time

    I would have no idea how to select both of these outputs at the same time?

    Just a shot in the dark, but did you check the ingame settings for surround/stereo? Maybe it is set to something your driver or device doesn't support. Maybe you could just set it to simple stereo, this SHOULD be OK with any device I think, and see if it helps to run stable. Would at least be a hint if this works.

    Is this a recent thing did all work before as windows updates have broken stuff for this soundcard and caused crashes before

    I would also try a standard driver not a beta one

    Hey Andi,

    So the game worked originally, then i had to reinstall windows due to some corrupt drivers (unrelated to Raceroom). This was a brand new fresh installation. From USB.

    At this point i couldnt connect to online servers at all but single player worked fine.

    Reinstalled and updated windows, allowed me to then connect to multiplayer servers but now it crashes with the USB audio device...

    On Nvidia audio it is completely fine. :)
