So is 5 frames a second the new norm? I tried changing a few of the graphics settings and now I get around 5 fps, tried closing, restarting, same. No more RR for me for a couple of weeks.
I never will understand that ppl don't have the patience to at least wait for a proper response rather then rage-quitting by feeling offended. As I understand the new guide we should at least invest a day of testing and to adapt to the new FFB-feel including reporting back major issues that MIGHT be connected to those changes
I can only confirm Andi's observation. Having the gamepad rumble enabled (on DD1) is a bad idea that brings FPS close to 0. Disabling it brings the performance back to pre-update levels.
I'm not rage quitting, I can't play the game!! There's not much I can report if it's impossible to play the game!! A screen, sound and ffb update 5 times a second makes it impossible to do anything. So I'll leave it a couple of weeks while problems are resolved. Does that suit you better?! And as it happens, I did have rumble enabled. So very many thanks to those that helped.
