    Hi all.
I've got a problem shifting with g25 and shh shifter.
When i press the clutch and rapidly change gear, seems that the clutch remain pressed for a lapse of time.
Here there is a video that show the issue:

    No problem with others simulators
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks a lot

Got the same issue, is probably coded that way. Bit annoying to be honest. Because of that it often makes sense to use less gears because you can spare a gear change... don't think that's realistic.

that option is in advance setting, anyway now I just tried the DTM92 mercedes and I have the same behaviour, it is the simulation of a slower gear stick and we should adapt ourselves to that, changing gear slower.
this option is in all ISI based games in the HDV HDC files....so is your friend in get real mode or has he some aids on?

He is in real mode, and all aids off...The date of the video is Jan-2015...maybe something has changed from the date he has recorded.
Thanks for the help, if anyone have a solution or something to try please reply :D

Speaking of the clutch,Is it normal to be able to change gear without engaging the clutch with auto clutch disabled and H pattern enabled? I ve just gone 10 laps round zolder in the DTM 92 merc and didnt once engage clutch. No engine failure no gearbox damage nothing.I was even trying to wreck the gearbox by downshifting from say 5th to 1st and still nothing.

Sure. I believe many if not the most racing drivers don't use clutch when shifting except at start and pits of course. You can do this easily with your own road car too.

Yes, you can change gear without the clutch, i hope someday this feature will be removed, or maybe if you change without clutch it will scratch.
@The_Grunt yes you can do it with your own road car too, but it's not so easy, you must rev match and shift at the right time...in R3E you can change when you want without gearbox damage. Not so real IMHO :)

True, you can't of course cram in the gear when ever you like. I don't know about the R3E behaviour, because I only have sequential stick and no clutch. Sounds like a lacking feature to me then :)

I think the problem is you just try to shift way to quickly. Just try to shift a bit slower and hit the bite point correctly like in real life. Have you ever driven older cars? Like 20 to 30 years old, those gearboxes definetly need way more precision and feeling of the driver.
