hello guys, maybe someone can help. Since a few weeks I keep getting short (about 1-2sec) black screens when racing online. This repeats almost every lap, and each time Crew Chief tells me the session is over. What can it be? I didn't change my hardware for long time...or is it software-related? Just wanted to check if someone knows a solution before I re-download the whole sim... desperate greetings
I had a black screen yesterday in an online race aswell, after 35 min in race 2, 5 minutes before race ends, it happend without warning. Before 40min training, 20 min qualy, 20min race 1 all in one session without issues. Raceroom closed completely, no replay file was created, no crash file either. DidnĀ“t had any issues before.
C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\SimBin\Crash Dumps is empty. What exactly do I have to look for? - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-PerfNet" Guid="{cab2b8a5-49b9-4eec-b1b0-fac21da05a3b}" /> <EventID>2004</EventID> <Version>1</Version> <Level>2</Level> <Task>0</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode> <Keywords>0x8000000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2021-11-22T21:11:31.3483726Z" /> <EventRecordID>36214</EventRecordID> <Correlation /> <Execution ProcessID="22288" ThreadID="5208" /> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>Wir-1070</Computer> <Security UserID="S-1-5-21-4138791135-4159544297-3937776868-1001" /> </System> - <EventData> <Data Name="NTSTATUS">3221225506</Data> </EventData> </Event>
I was asking to lok in windows logs not the crash dumps to see if something windows wise tied into the time the game was doing this Andi
Sorry Andi, thats why I asked "What exactly do I have to look for?" Where do I find the information I need? As the ""http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event" I posted above is the only error in the windows event log from eventvwr at that time.
Black Screens seems to be an issue with NVIDIA driver 496.76, as you can read @ NVIDIA support forum.
well, i had freezes some time. And after a complete windows and r3e reinstall the problem still exists but it's there sometimes and on another day it's not there. Very irritating. I checked windows event log, nothing found
