Not always, because it is the only game where I am facing this. I just want a decent resolution (75%) with solid 90 FPS at low graphics settings BUT... I need to go 44% instead

I tried 60hz and it feels smooth but the flickering makes me feel an epileptic attack coming in the next minutes XD

Yesterday I did a testdrive with the 21.10.2 drivers because i bought Forza Horizon 5, and didn't wanted to change bnack for our online event. Performance is still not on the 20.5.1 level with my 5700XT, but its okay. Maybe with some graphic settings tuning could be fine.

Test videorcorded in 1080, but youtube is still qeuing the HD version:

It's okay in a Valve Index, but HP Reverb G2 is another story :(

Funny thing is, i had issues aswell (AMD3600X, 3080, G2) such as micro stutters and fps.

In the end, i have some good results.

SteamVR resolution on 74%, and on 60Hz

I removed otterhud from steam startup.
Deleted user directory, and rebuilded the settings from there.
Controls, but dit NOT touch FFB settings.
And had the graphics set to automaticly.

Weirdest thing is the game set ingame settings higher than i had. I now i get smooth 60fps with waaay more graphics 'candy'

But very occasionally an purple spike

Fyi, a user running a RX6800 XT GPU informed us that he was experiencing massive fps issues in RaceRoom and that updating his Radeon software to this version seems to have fixed those issues.

As I remember seeing quite a few users with the same GPU reporting issues, maybe this new driver is worth a try for those of you running RX5000/6000 series GPUs.
Let us know if this improved things for you.

    Good luck.

Moved from 20.11.2 to the 21.10.2 and never had such stutters. It's completly unchanged here. Using a Rift in open-vr to circumvent SteamVR, but seems like the Rift sets do work better in other games too (ACC) performance wise

Okay give it a try with the 21.40 beta, from my feeling in general it is on the same level as 21.10.2 or 21.11.3, maybe slightly positive differences for the 21.40 beta

    21.40 beta with Otterhud

Reference - 20.5.1 with otterhud - 2xAA ingame => no dust and sparks but smooth

I will try other configs later
