Just in Case anyone is interested, thanks to new tools in steamvr it also works in vr (though I don’t exactly know how the tool would look in vr). There are multiple ways to achieve this.
Let me know in case anyone is interested.

Do you mean a sort of VR mirror? I'm missing this so much, how can I have it?

you should be able to use it in vr if you use steam vr with the help of crew chief. I think I posted a link some time ago.

    …and there it is.

As long as you use steam vr it should not matter which headset you use, though I think that using steam vr with rift s leads is a waste of performance.

of course it does. anyway i'm also fine without having the RSH window in VR. i just come back in pits and look at it pressing alt+tab, one more step but at least i have more free space in my headset

    Hi
isn't there a problem with front tyre temp on the Touring Classic Volvo 240 Turbo ?
We're having a race at Scandinavian raceway with this car and I know some turns are elevated, but otter hud is showing higher outter temps on the front. I didn't test yet on another track, but this looks like a strange behaviour.

Seems as if standard setup does not provide sufficient negative camber for that particular track. I did some testing and ended up using the car's maximum camber value of -4.5 I also reduced front left pressure by 4kPa and increased the right front around 4 kPa (that's 165kPa LF/ 173kPa RF in setup) Even with that setting, I only could achieve an even temperature spread and no real falloff from inside to outside. I guess those endless banked righthanders just make the outside of the contact patch sit on the asphalt more during cornering and thus heating them up that much.
As you can see, middle temp of the front left is still a tad too high, so I would even go another click lower here with tyre pressure. Hope that helps a bit. (And maybe increase rear right pressure btw)

    Thanks for testing.
Even on first lap and taking the long straight, the outer temp still higher.
I must test on another track now.

Did you reset back to standard setup before? Just to rule out you're using an older (pre-physics update) setup which might mess up some settings and won't work anymore. Maybe you give my settings a go and do at least 5 consistent laps until temps have settled. Very much interested in your findings.

I had no previous setup for this car, so I started with the default.

I commented this too a while back and @Alex Hodgkinson explained body roll to be the reason. Try stiffening the whole car up and see what happens - it might not help.

There are cars for which the calculations don't work because the tire models are very very old (e.g. the DTM 2013-2016).
So if you really can't get a temp spread then this should be the cause and there's nothing I can do. The calculations rely on the data R3E exposes in the shared memory api.
