Guys, it`s on sale right now (in germany)... does anyone played it? Is it worth the 15 EUR? I know it`s not a "sim", but maybe it`s fun...?! The last F1 game I played is 2013... Any thoughts?
Bought on release day, returned 10 minutes later. No option to disable steering wheel, so the ingame wheel is permanently visible behind my SF1000 and has a steering lag. Immersion killer. And no VR. But that should'nt stop you, as 99% of the F1 player sitting inside the airbox while driving, maybe that's an option for you.
Haha, yea, i am currently watching drive to survive... Its quite entertaining... But honestly, i am not a big f1 fan (anymore...watched it as a kid when michael schumacher was at benetton...)... I dont really like any kind of open wheelers, but i thought i give it a try... And... Its quite fun i must say. It has a good presentation of "the whole thing". Its not a sim regarding regarding physics and ffb, but thats ok for me (for the fun). I also would like to disable the wheel, but for me it works to switch of the wheel&hands animation. Due to my fov and seating position i do not see the wheel anymore (just a little bit left and right but thats ok) when its fixed, so no problem at the end for me.
So sieht's aus, deswegen auch die Bemerkung zum Drang der daraus entsteht tho I didn't get that far after I tried at a Free CM Weekend. The Franchise is so heavily commercialised in combination with the whole F1 Circus that I even found the process to register too much and being no Fanboy at all (wanted to check it out just for some sideshow fun) I aborted the installation. Well, yeah, thats what Codemasters are known for, can't argue with that
Ok, so i have got a question for those who play the game... Im confused: I have turned the pit stop assist off. (Nearly all assists except ERS management) and driving a single race. But when i am pitting, my car is totally AI controlled from the pit entry to pit exit... Wtf? Am I missing an option to be set...? Does manually pit stops actually work in this game?
