Slow starting

Racerooms is taking an age to start, I play in VR, the small loading box starts immediately but Steam vr takes possibly 30 seconds or more to start, is any body else getting this?

 

Yes, it seems a little slow today. I would not call 30 sec "an age" though.

 

For me, 30 seconds seem pretty fast...

 

I guess it just seems a long time Sat in the dark with a vr headset on
Vr used to kick in very quickly but not at the moment

 

Sometimes the servers that run the backed are slow. It's annoying.

 

It seems to me that the slower startup times started occuring more often since the Driver Pack associated updates - but this is highly subjective.

 

I can confirm a slower start up to the initial menu screen since a few days. I have not measured the exact time but it definitely takes longer.

 

I timed it yesterday, its actually 50 seconds!!
I'm running a 13600k!
