Resolved New update/content, game won’t load

After today’s update, I also purchased the Porsche Pack. Problem is, the game refuses to load; I get as far as the race menu, choose the car/track, but am unable to race. This has never happened, before today’s update. Needless to say, after purchasing the new content, I’m a little pissed. Is anything known, or is there a workaround? Thanks guys

 

I got an error during purchase and wanted to continue my current championship. The the very old loading screen, where the ROWE SLS and the yellow McLearen are shown, is shown and it loads to eternity. Also tested a training with 1 car, same result. It also took ages till the Red button appered, on which click to start a session.

 

Yeah, got the same loading screen. The game just isn’t loading, can’t believe, I bought the new content, & can’t even try it out. Never had this problem, hope there’s a very quick patch/fix; I’m angry

 

Porsche attracts too many players.....
I'm off for the weekend and hope it runs on monday again...

Ok, thanks for the heads up; I’ll get over it, still disappointing to buy new content, & not be able to play it, but there are worse things in life

 

Oh come one it was exactly like this the last 3 times at least. This is the new normal now

edit: I had two hours for trying the new cars this week, all I was doing was waiting, there are better things to do, sorry

 

Unfortunately nothing new, regularly happens on update (or more precise content drop) days and personally ive decided to just wait a day or two before driving again. While annoying its better than spending half the evening just to do a couple test laps.
Heres to hoping the new backend will be up and running sooner rather than later

There are 640 people playing raceroom and the servers are overload


Wasn't this to be expected? Is Raceroom really that weak?

 

This is abysmal, really. After 4hrs of trying, still couldn’t play the damn game/new content. Inexcusable, this needs to be addressed, quickly. For tonight, I’m giving up, try again tomorrow, For now, I’ll drive ACC

 

Me too,no testdriving a new car nor can i play my bought content for about 12 hours.

 

Exactly, it´s beyond foolish to expect to maintain a player base when the game can´t run correctly for such a long time - even to load a single player session with owned content. This is not Battlefronts or FIFA, we are takling about a load of what 100 or 200 players more than normal yet the server can´t handle it?

Things were never this bad when the normal peak player numbers were a lot higher.

 

So can only 600 people play race room world wide That seams a little low?

 

My favorite bits are the "devs are aware" responses. They should have been aware for years now.
