R3E Web Dashboard Released

Hi Stefan, the new sizing feature is excellent and I can finally use my iPhone as the wheel dash. But I noticed I cannot run a tablet with a dashboard and my phone with a dashboard at the same time, only one or the other works, the last one to connect.

Is that right or am I missing something?

Yeeaahh..that is correct, I noticed that....thing is that I remove duplicate connections...but I need to fix this..

Awesome utility, great work

 

with auto launch widgets, I still can't get them to work.... they are open just not displaying anything

refreshing does not work

I have to close and reopen the widgets for them to work

I'm using my own widgets if that makes a difference???

Actually, I have just checked the code and had fixed that one.....my tablet is caput (some china crap), but I tried to open a dash on my mobile, pc and the other laptop and they all worked....

Could you maybe try again and see what happens? Maybe a hard refresh?

@le_poilu I have added lots of logging and error handling...so after you edit the dash etc, please send me the log file, hopefully I can see the error there

Mainly fixed

It now starts 2 out of 3 of my widgets. Not always the same 2 though. Good news is the reload arrows work and clicking that on the widget now working fixes it.

The delta for the 3 sectors does not look like its working correctly now though and the estimated laps (which should be the time remaining / best lap time) also still does not work

Installed, tried, bug came as usual.

But where can I find the logs ?
There's not much in the programdata folder (see attached file)

 

That's the file I needed, thanks. It does not specify the exact error but clearly the issue is with the application accessing the database where the widget data is stored. It could be permission issues but I need to add more logging to find out...

I set 3 widgets to auto open and they all opened. Maybe you are having some database issues too. I'm adding more logging and will add download link soon. Maybe then you can send me your log file.

Now regarding the other stuff.....I think there is a widget misunderstanding...

The widget you are talking about is "Total Laps" as seen below. Seems to work for me too. The other one, "Estimated Laps"...that is more "The number of estimated laps for the fuel you have in your tank". I'm going to rename it so that ppl don't confuse it. And this does not work offline, only in multiplayer as R3E does not send the Fuel Used offline.



Regarding the Sectors Delta, that has become Sector Times, which show the sector times of the current lap. Seem to work for me. Can you maybe elaborate whats not working?

Hi Andy, that error happens if you have two app managers running at the same time. Most probably the app was already running and minimized in the task bar and you opened another one. You can check in your task manager if you have more than 1 ProRacingDash.exe.

I'll make a check when the app is opening so that you get a message that app is already running and it auto closes.
