Mandatory, yes. But there's no way we can force them as we're running with the Custom/RRE format series and not with Adac 2014 (where it might cause some glitch/errors). So you're requested to perform at least 1 pitstop (manually). If you don't, you'll get DSQ.
thanks for the clarification i was about to try and stretch out the race on one set... i need to read the rules.
now lets say you pit... and don't... for some crazy reason... change tires.... or do you have to change tires.... not even sure if you can pit and not take tires. Never done it.
I would imagine tires are mandatory. Even if they aren't, due to the overall pit lane delta, it would be a tremendous disadvantage not to take tires.
After the recent issues with the R3E backend server which apparently have been solved (partially) but not for the majority of the users, we're evaluating the possibility of postponing the start of BHR Champ. The last thing I'd like to see is a bunch of people not able to connect and those who make it, then kicked out 10mins from the end, whilst in a great race!

Seriously doubt it's a gfx issue. The error says it's related to the backend server.. So it's another kind of problem. I'd say let's start next week cause I'm reading around other users are still having problems. Personally, I'd be pissed if I'm online ready to start the champ and I can't connect and I see that the first round goes on without me and I'd be pissed too if I'd get kicked out during the race for the same reason.
