I'm very new to Sim racing so please be patient. When I was racing on line when I was close to the leader a message popped up saying that the option to adjust the rear wing appeared. I'm not sure of the exact term that was used but, I believe that's what it was. Can some explain what it is and what option name is used so I can set it up on my wheel. Thanks
Hi Anthony, Its called DRS, Drag Reduction system and available on the DTM cars. Although the following link is not geared towards DTM cars but F1 cars, it still explains what it does very well. http://www.racecar-engineering.com/articles/f1/drs-the-drag-reduction-system/
I'm not sure, but do you mean the DRS option (drag reduction system)? You have to assign a button on your wheel (in the settings menu) to use/activate it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drag_reduction_system Edit: Ok, @Jay Ekkel was faster than me, it took me too long to look up the link...
To assign a button to activating DRS do the following: Go to the Options menu Click the Controller Settings button In this menu, click the "Secondary Functions" button You should now see a list of functions on the right-hand side of your screen. At the top you should see "DRS" Double Click "DRS" to enable assigning a button to it When the game displays "Press any Key", press the button you want to use to activate DRS After doing that, you should be able to activate the DRS in practice sessions and when driving close to an opponent in the DTM.
