These widgets do not work v.1.6.1.2 in "Custom Windows Dashboards (Tick to open)": Spedo tires info tire temparature with values inner, middle and outer oil temp oil presure in Build/Edit Dashboards: gear + shiftlight al fuel value average lap analog rpm + speed extreme lag tire temparature with values inner, middle and outer is not there The DirectX widgets I brought to work. For me not usable outside as too far. I drive 5900 x 1200. Maybe you can make them movable. Vitumo generates an ini where you can place the value on the screen. http://www.vitumo.de/
Love the overlay but didn't realize the widgets or the overlay could affect framerates. I never checked my rates before using the app (as I'm a little bit computer illiterate lol and never thought too as well) I was expecting to run the game at its highest settings as I have two gtx 770's in sli but the overlay is telling me my framerate drops to 45 fps at times depending on passing cars or location on track etc. If someone could chime in how I can check fps with the overlay off I'll report on how much it drops with it on. Can't check today as I work weekends. Cheers
You can show the FPS by using a couple of things as shown here: http://www.howtogeek.com/209710/4-quick-ways-to-see-a-pc-game’s-fps-frames-per-second/ To draw the overlays I am using a different thread so it should not affect the game. Mine is 60 FPS with it OFF and ON. But maybe I am wrong. If it affects the FPS, then I'll drop this Overlay thing as I do not think I can enhance it more.
Hi Stefan, could you please take a look at the code... if I am the first, the six drivers are not displayed behind me... but if I'm last, the six drivers are displayed correctly in front of me. Thanks Mate Markus
Hi As for the analogue gauges, they are not working when used in a custom dashboard. I've know of the the issue for a while as it has been reported but it needs lots of work to be fixed so I'll just need to find some time. As for the others you mentioned, I'll check them out. The Build/Edit Dashboard is tricky to make them work there so. They are really semi-working to just give you an idea of what it looks like. But I'll still check them out and see what I can do. As for DirectX, yes the plan is to make them movable. But as of now, its not looking good as apparently they affect the FPS a lot. I'm waiting for some more feedback and if FPS is affected more that 1 or 2 FPS I'll drop this DirectX Overlay thingy. Also, as someone mentioned, the other windowed overlay does NOT affect FPS.
Nice... I have another question: You can extend the line break in the name? For example, at M. Rockenfeller a newline is enforced, although enough space exists. Thanks Mate Markus
Hey Stefan there is no drop in framerates with the overlay. I tested fps before/after and it looks good. Cheers
So you are saying that with the App OFF you have 200 FPS and when you switch it ON you have 40% less correct?
