The Age of a Sim Racer

Yea I'm not the oldest I'm 52 been a gamer since the ealry 80's and racer, real cars since 80's on and of never serious competition, but then in older years over to simracing much cheeper and friendlier to crash in

 

I think this forum has a lot of new members and Yes some of them have now made their votes. Is that a problem?

Don't feel so bad now at 51 , there are others out there !!!Hurts a little to get into the sim chair sometimes , not sure how these i racing guys do the 24 hrs.

 

A lot of coffee and very severe persistent driving not letting anyone know about the weak week in bed after a 24h race

 

44 here, been gaming since around 12 years old, can't see myself ever giving it up

 

Im 22, I feel like such a child in here

In German we say Alter vor Schönheit, means age before beauty, so please consider when driving.

We also say Gnade vor Recht, means mercy before law, in the end for me it would be the same.

 

I'm 55 years old and can still kick ass when I remember which day I'm supposed to be racing

 

52 but flat resembles that of a teenager and proud of it, often full of jealous (married) middle aged men drinking my tea and eating my Pizza!

55 club member here, been a sim-racing junkie since being introduced to GTL & Geoff Crammonds GP2 by a mate about 17yrs ago.
