illogical damage cars with middle placed engine

    It looks prety illogical if GTR-X car gets hit in the front or side of the car then car gets engine damage instead chassis. I think steering wheel center shift would be enough.

    Yep, all mid-engined cars show this behaviour. A slight side-hit on a wall or such is enough to kill the engine. It has been reported and a fix is being worked on.

    LOL that cost me points during Sachesnring round in our champ when I hit the side of my mp4 against the pitwall a couple of hundred meters away from the finish line... 45min race threw out of the window! :mad::)

    Have you ever watched Porsche Carrera Cup racing? A small impact on the nose causes a radiator leak which will kill the engine. Mid and rear engined cars still typically have oil and/or water coolers in the nose.

    Agree, but it's also (and mostly) the side contacts that are too sensitive.
