English ESR PUBLIC EVENTS ( Drop-in ) on week-ends

Haha, I bogged down hard on the start and got swamped by you and everyone else behind me.

 

lol, I didn't know what was going on, I figured someone missed a shift I saw ze gap and went for it hah. I don't know who was in that yellow nissan but he gave me a good fight until he lost it behind me. I may need to start keeping names on in game, but it kills immersion for me and looks crappy sometimes.

Same, that audi on the start is a whale

 

yeah - the start is quite difficult with the audi and with the nissan, too. You need to keep the rpm's high to avoid the immense turbo-lag. Using the manual clutch and let is slip a bit at the start helped me, but I definitely need some training with that... ^^

 

It's a nice gesture to have open races at Europe-friendly times, but almost every time I show up there 's pool of zero to three drivers max.....would have loved to take a few laps with P1/2....

 

They should use rolling start IMO

Ok guys let see what we should do for upcoming events on Friday and Sunday.

There was a request for american track with Gto. I think Sonoma And ... You tell me.

What other car/track combo should we do?

 

Group 5 update incoming so this is obvious for car choice (they should be quite similar to GTO, tho). Maybe G5 @ Monza and Zandvoort.

For second GTO track, i think i vote for Laguna Seca.

 

Hmm updated physic group 5 at Monza might finally get @::SKRO:: to come out and play outside of the champ race

 

Curious to see how the group 5 compare to the imsa gto cars after the update. I'm assuming the group 5 is still faster. I have no idea how similar they were in terms of power in real life so i'm assuming that is historically accurate. I might just have to finally buy a group 5 car

 

Comparable, probably GTOs will be slower. I was only running both on Sachsenring and i have personal best in GTO Mustang - 1:22.2 and in G5 Fabcar 1:23.0, but i was more familiar with Mustang then and it's not best track for Fabcar. Another thing is top speeds - 255km/h for Mustang and 270km/h for Fabcar.

Hello, I'd like to be part of ERS like come together somtimes to do some clean racing?..do you also run on private servers with passwort?
I mostly drive Group 5, GT3, DTM and FR2, but also like anything else in the game..

They've rendered the Zakspeed Capri boring now, the lag is too much, these cars were a handful, 600Bhp they had to be short shifted to stop them snapping in the rear. Check out the on board footage, plus they don't hiss everytime you get of the gas or downshift, RRE have gotten it wrong, terribly wrong.

 

Honestly, I don't think your correct in this. you don't know how that car was set up compared to the in game car. the audio might need a bit of work, the default setup in r3e is very safe and easy to drive, but its also a fair bit slower. anyway, claiming that its ruined is very melodramatic.
