I have a T500RS. It works perfect in other sims, iRacing, AC, etc. I have come back to try DTM 2015 and although FFB is good, the wheel rumbles a lot because surface track. I tried to put vertical forces 0% or kerbs 0% but no difference. I can´t drive with that insane vibration. Any help is welcome, thanks.
Have you tried using the ffb meter to make sure you don't have it turned up too high? On my fanatec wheel I have to turn down the shock and force settings(not overall ffb) Which helps reduce the intensity of the motors inside. Otherwise with r3e it will rattle.
yeah, thanks DirtyriceTX, FFB meter is ok, under red line. The issue comes in the straights when I don´t move the Wheel, when I move the Wheel turning the rumble fades.
I had the same effect with my T300RS. Strong rumble when driving straight. If I moved the wheel just slightly left or right the rumble went away completly, it was only in the centered position.
Maybe try lowering Minimum Force and/or increasing Smoothing. Other thing to check would be Engine Vibrations.
I had the same problem with my T500, but thanks to the settings that Peter Koch posted in Controller Profile thread, they got rid of the centre shake. Thanks Peter. https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/controller-profiles.883/page-12#post-63027
thanks everybody, Minimun Force is the key. With PeyePete link and Minimun Force 0% rumble disappear totaly.
I have the rumble as well on the T300RS i always thought it was normal. The min Force is on 10% as default should i put it down to get rid of the center rumble? i thought it was the road feel.. any thoughts?
You should only increase minimum force above 0 if your wheel isn't responding to smaller ffb forces, like say you didn't think you were getting any road feel. It is to help with wheels that can't produce the ffb as well. On my fanatec I set it to 0 also.
