Man those things are deathtraps! It's insane to think they used to be raced around.

I'd rather have a "fictional" ChampCar RR 1 series - identical vehicles, various Champ Car liveries (1998-2003), so that it works as a Cup package ... ... and then Oval Tracks ... :)

It'd be nice if you weren't penalised for being off track when you were pushed off or had to swerve to avoid collision. Be even nicer if the offender was given a slowdown until you'd retaken your position as a minimum, repeat offenders given so severe a slow down it becomes in their interest to avoid hitting other cars.

Classic could be anything though. :) I'm still rooting for the V10's, would love that traction control noise going through R3E's excellent sound.

    late 60's
    [IMG]
    or early 70's style.

Yeah, probably will be too seeing how easy it seems to be to grab a Lotus license these days. Would not object although it wouldn't be my personal pick.

I was curious if you guys have always been a racing fan or if you love some other sports. I've always been a racing fan since i was 3 and I always hated football

This would be nice, but these cars aren't Formula One cars. I think the R3E team has already an idea for this new car. It will probably looks like the FR2 cup car but with more engine power.

If we take a look at iRacing and Co. … I would say: Yes! This car will come to R3E too.

PS: The 70's and early 80's were awful periods for racing worldwide ... many ugly cars

I love the lotus 49 in iracing. It's a hand full but I love vintage cars, it's gorgeous and has an amazing racing history. Their model is quite nice too.

Not played RF2 for a long time but I remember the vintage formula cars (think they was called the Evo and Spark) were a real handful but very rewarding.

As we used to call it: "Papa Smurf" :D
Still, there's sth bout those six-wheelers that's so ridiculous, but I would love a 3axle class in RR... :D

I started watching F1 in the 80's with my Dad,But moved on to boxing for the next twenty years.I started playing GT5 on the ps3 and quickly realised PC was the way to go.Now I watch F1 again and very little boxing. I've come full circle I also play a little Battlefield and some junk food COD.

This turns into "What would you never like to see for formula RR 1"

    March 711 from 1978:eek:
Reminds me a bit to NCC-1701 USS Enterprise.
    Era of bad taste!
