Just want to introduce myself and say hello as I have joined the Steram group. Pretty new to sim racing but loving the R3E vibe...Hopefully see you on track soon. Is it just GTR3 or ADAC cars too?

If anyone wants a GTR3 + ADAC server, I can set it up. I like those cars and slipped around the tracks many times in the Audi R8...
How can i join without spending money on steam ? Yea i know i only have to spend 5usd BUT i dont want to spend that money on steam because i thought steam whas free and i only have raceroom installed and thats free...
As far as I know, there is no way to bypass the steam restrictions. I think you should buy some raceroom content. If you really want to race in this group, the free content will not do the job as we race in different classes most of the time.

I am looking for more people to run servers for casual raceroom so more people get to see the server name and come on! Get in touch with me if you can run a sever and want to help!
I can run a server on my machine. Do you have any special ideas regarding the content? Or do you just want to spread the name in the server list? I think we should provide only a few servers with at least a hand full of regular players because people join the better filled servers which appear on the top of the list. So, if we create too many servers, I guess they will compete against each other for players and finally they will be less frequented than just a few servers with a constant number of racers. We could set up servers on a regular base with different server specific content. The cars and tracks should not change on each server (except a predefined track rotation) making the content more consistent and predictable. This way people can race their favourite cars and tracks regularly. To get that working, we need to know the group's preferences for tracks and cars. So, what are your wishes? Just post it in this thread and after collecting some statistics, we can set up servers how you want them.
@Jorgengustavsson, I actually suggest you start by buying the European track pack right away, no brainer for new racers today; knowing what I know now I would personally only buy one car in each category, GT3, DTM, WTCC and that should take you a long, long way, probably under 20 euro...
OK great thanks Paradox, I think if we run free tracks along with other tracks from ADAC 2014 and add GT3s and ADAC cars would be most popular I would think if we could run that, with tire wear, engine dmg, drive through, say 15 min practice with 20 min qual and 20 min race wish one mandatory pit stop, call serve Casual Racing Club! Let me know how you get on..
