Question dedicated server development

Hello,

There will be the dedicated Server an evolution?

For Example:
- online player view
- kick, ban player
- server change without off

In addition to that I'd add:
- possibility to use car stock settings (or pre-determined settings)
- possibility to add AIs to fill in empty spot
- announcements/whispers to drivers on the server
- lock/unlock cockpit camera only
- ghost/unghost target car (similar to kick but this would be like a warning)

THAT is the most important what we need!
Don`t want to run stupid VM`s with Win on my root anymore.

 

This would have to go hand in hand with a REAL chat interface ...
- that needs to be better visible (for example like in iRacing)
- that is visible not only to drivers on track but to drivers looking at the setup, session info, timing table ...
- that would be also used for server / admin messages
- where the messages dont disappear in like 0.001 sec

I'm pretty sure once we get a dedicated server with features like the people posted here we will see a whole other quality of MP gaming, and with that way more people playing.

 

Possibility to switch off chat during the qualy or race except maybe messages from admin

 

And of course dedicated server shared memory or something similar

 

Skip session, kick ban players by name, reverse grid , weight penalties would be awesome

 

hi all es ist mir einfach nicht möglich einen dedicat server einzurichten,verstehe es leider nicht warum das nicht möglich ist immer bekomme ich angezeigt server antwotet nicht bitte um rat.

• Bist Du nach dieser Anleitung vorgegangen
  (engl: Did you follow this HowTo?)
• Hast Du alle relevanten Ports geöfnet bzw. entsprechend geroutet?
  (engl.: Did you open all necessary ports and set the routing correct?)
  
• Hast Du mal probiert, diese Daten zu löschen?
  (engl.: Did try deleting these data?):
