In iracing you buy only one track for this price or one month of subscription R3E not expensive game.
No, you don't even buy that in iRacing, you rent it. As soon as you stop paying your subscription, you are left with nothing (until you start paying again...)
I am pretty sure I have ploughed more bucks into r3e than any other sim so in that case yes it is expensive. For example pc has more tracks and cars but costs much less and the game has more features.
AC costs less, too and has more cars. An i payed more than the guys using the summer sale now. Life sucks sometimes
I drive AC, PCARS and R3E. All three have their strong points and weak points. But claiming either of them is "not sim" is not very wise Or you can look at it from a different point: of view: none of them are "sims" Even the million dollar "sims" of F1 teams are not correct if we should believe Lewis Hamilton...
Now you are nit picking, I am sure the larger player base would disagree with you. And why would it be any less of a sim than r3e. They both aim to do the same thing.
Essentially they just have different interpretations of how physics feel from a behind a gaming wheel. Both are sims imo too.

Yeah PC does have more cars and tracks when you start off, I paid $50 (or more?) for the game, which was alot considering how much i've used it - in my case, it was not a good deal. R3E on the other hand i've gotten my moneys worth, and did out of the first $4 purchase i made (volvo 240). I'm not saying you are wrong at all, just different models have different benefits. I could have saved alot of money if Pcars used same model because i don't prefer it. But yeah of course it's a sim, all these games are, as mentioned its just different interpretations and ways of simulating driving. Those that call out "X game is not a SIM" to me seem like folks that just want to feel like their game is the big boy game while all other peons play toys. It's stupid.
The possibility to change seat angle would help a lot. I am struggling to find the right position (cockpit view) in several cars.
