Released 30-06-2016 RaceRoom has been updated

Was it crashing to desktop or was it a Windows "Raceroom stopped responding" error, or was it a freeze/hang?

 

I am using Fanaleds, but it has only the brake treshold slider which I have set on max (most sensitive) but in R3E the effect seems less, so I am going to fiddle around with the controller files (which I found now thanks to @Vojvoda )

Btw: according to the Fanaleds list, R3E lock rumble was virtual ("based on rpm and speed of the car to detect locking. This works pretty good but is not as accurate as the Real Lock Rumble.
RLL: based on the speed of the front wheels of the cars, relative to the speed of the vehicle. This always works, in any scenario")

 

At first all other cars disappear and then crashed to desktop. It was the same for all, except one or two guys out of 15.

 

This is a known visual glitch. I probably should have mentioned it in changelog.

The opponent cars will disappear during the grid walk.

 

What's the version of the latest update meant to be? My install is on 0.3.0.5100 - I didn't notice it updating in Steam, but is this the latest version? I have Raceroom set to "High Priority" for updates

 

Yes that's the latest version.

 

In real life they have first gear engaged with the clutch pressed, dropping it when the race begins.

@Fanapryde For me it Works.I got v1 Pedals.Did you check the Brake box for the rumble Effect in Fanaleds.Without the check nothing happens and you get fully 100% vibrating as set in R3E.



In the .rcs Config file i found this 3 Lines.
"FFB Brake FX on steer axis="1" // 0 = Brake effects on brake axis, 1 = brake effects on steering axis.
FFB pedal brake slip vibe="1.0" // Brake pedal vibration on front tire slip
FFB pedal brake vibe slope="5.0" // Slope for brake pedal vibration based on speed and braking %"
Have no idea what to test with those few Values.

 

I don t know if you have notice that, we have new liveries for the skyline with 24h vln skins 1 black and 1 blue and 2 new skins for the ruf and 1 for the corvette orange flame and White rear.

I wonder how you turn this pedal rumble off as i dont really like it, sorry Sector3 !
Is it just a point of editing a controller file as i cant find a setting in sim.

Don't know if it was already mentioned but im too tired to read it all , had invisible car in MP in front of me and people jumping positions in the time table. Looks like that still needs attention from you guys at S3.

Two of you said this, did neither of you actually read the content of my post? I am essentially asking EXACTLY what you are talking about. I AM ASKING If he is engaging the clutch and putting the car into first and waiting there, as R3E does not penalize you with a false start or a moving car, or if he is simply putting the clutch in........

 

Im pretty sure the "fix" for random disconnects from the servers failed. We did a 2 heat race last night, each with its own qualy.
1st race was ok, but second race I didn't do quali, although I sat in the garage. when it came around to the race, I just got dropped from the server. S3. Please look into this! that fix didn't work, and if this is going to be the case, Im going to be a pretty grumpy guy cause out next championship has 2 heats per race event!

What exactly happens, does it hang on the splash screen (that little picture that pops up first)?
Are you by any chance a Vodafone or Kabel Deutschland customer?
If so, can you open http://game.raceroom.com/ in your browser?

 

The little picture pop`s up, went white and stay white. Noting happen afterwards, just a small white window. I can open the raceroom link, and yes, i`m a KD customer.
