    Hi,

since the latest Nvidia driver update (Win 10 64 bit), my Nvidia Shadowplay does not recognize Raceroom in fullscreen anymore. Windowed mode works, but there my NVI profile doesn't work. Shadowplay does work, if I set the resolution in the Shadowplay options to anything other than "in game", but then I get a square video output.

Has anyone else encountered these problems? What other options are there to record a Raceroom session?

Fraps only records a black screen in fullscreen mode. Are you running R3E in fullscreen or windowed mode?

All my videos are recorded with MSI Afterburner, Fullscreen only. :)

I can't get Afterburner to run, though I have a MSI card. I'll try to re-install it

I've never used Fraps with RRE so I can't tell.. I've used it during several years but when I knew about Bandicam I switched and never came back.

OBS recorder works well with pretty good quality, for recording and broadcast.

You have to note, that OBS Studio is able to use your video processing unit of your nvidia card like shadowplay can do.
(Results in less then 1% CPU usage while recording)
Bandicam, Fraps, Afterburner and all the other recording software can`t use it.
And OBS Studio is open source (Free).

Till now I only recorded replays, but I guess that makes OBS the recorder of choice for live recording in a race?

Yes. If you want max FPS while racing, use OBS Studio.

You have Windows 10, so note that Game DVR (part of the Xbox app) works in RaceRoom. The "game bar" UI doesn't appear, but recording works perfectly, whether it's recording the last x minutes, or starting/stopping a recording (settings and hotkeys are in the Xbox app).

It records in 60 fps since the Anniversary Update, and I've found the quality and performance hit to be equal to OBS (great, and none at all, respectively). In fact, it does one better than OBS in that it's always running so I never have to remember to launch it.

OBS Studio is great for live streaming, but if you want high-quality, and most importantly highly customizable options, Bandicam is a much better solution.
