Didn't like Silverstone in the past, but AC made me liking it, so I expect to like it in RR as well. Actually, it makes an interesting drive around the lap. RD says its just the modern, present track layout, which is fine for me. Like the modern one more than the old one anyway. Or I am just used to it now.

I love the National layout (used by the BTCC) even though there isn't much to it. A good sprint track for lower-powered cars, plus it uses the old pitlane.
hope there will not only be the gp layout, gp layout is like monza , only fun for ultra fast cars an extreme example is monza in AC , try to take a slow car for a spin there most boring track ever, and silverstone is kind of similar in slow cars so please : layouts !!!!!!
Horrible circuit but made by the best in the business, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Heck, you guys even got me to not completely hate Shanghai..... It would be nice to have the option to use either the new pits or the old pits and start line, as you did with Spa. Blancpain Endurance and the Classic are the two Silverstone events I go to and both use the old pitlane still, so I'm selfishly hoping for four layouts.
great news ... would be also nice: - Donington Park - Oulton Park - Rockingham Motor Speedway … and for all Brands Hatch fans the full track layout of course
Don't forget Cadwell Park. If S3 releases that circuit, there'll be no reason to start PCARS anymore (just kidding). But at least Automobilista will get it soon. Anyway, the new Silverstone layout is one of the best modern circuits imho, I'm really looking forward to drive on it.
Me too - I attended the Sunday Blancpain GT Endurance event at Silverstone this year and it was a great race, would love to be able to re-live this in R3E (and to drive the winning AMG GT3 car, which S3 have now announced), though obviously will still feel a little incomplete without a certain two Italian manufacturers represented...
I see a Silver Stone coming on the horizon for us. Super, a new route from god old Britania for RRRE. Thank S3.
This is the current selection of layouts that we'll try and do: (you can look them up here) GP Arena Circuit International Circuit Long National Circuit National Circuit Historic GP Circuit (as it is raced today) (modern layout but old pits and fast chicanes)
