    Based on the S60 sedan, the four-door was developed by Polestar, Volvo's performance division, and will be campaigned in the WTCC by Cyan Racing.

    Power: 400 HP
    Max rpm: 8500 rpm
    Gearbox: 6-speed sequential
    Suspension: MacPherson front and rear, adjustable Öhlins dampers
    Brakes front: 4-piston caliper, 390mm ventilated discs
    Brakes rear: 2-piston caliper, 280mm ventilated discs
    Rims: 18″ with five-bolt pattern
    Body: Steel and carbon fibre
    Weight: 1100 kg

    And the two races format, with inverted grid would also be a nice addition, with pts for qualifying too...

    Would love to see a STCC-16 pack with the current cars, which are silouette cars, so only one physics to do, and then the tracks. STCC is a very small seris nowadays (7 race weekends) and running on small tight Swedish tracks should make it a bit easier.

    The official STCC league should look at DTM and see what R3E has done for popularity of the series.
    Returning to FWD, TCR cars might boost it to it's old glory again.

    I may have to move to planet Ovlov, I do hope the second head isn't mandatory... o_O

    I realise, some/most? may not have read the MotorCycleNews. Just take it for granted, I haven't lost all contact with this planet yet.. Wait!!.. what planet is this?.... :D

    This is fantastic news. Now I am anticipating for WTCC2016 as the grid will have an extra car.

    Would be great if we will get TCR too.

    Really happy for this, but also hoping it doesn't arrive next year, and when it does arrive hopefully it will be with reverse grids, weight penalty and flag rules. Thanks

    That car is probably dead. Volvo wil bury the S60 V8s somewhere in Sweden in a few months.Don't keep your hopes up..
