By the way I found a way to get packs in the new store. You can now buy every single class as a pack - Just select the class in the "cars" portion of the store.

 

Did some hillclimbing but now i`m stuck on the milky screen again.

 

Ok at The moment it works for me now flawlessly. Driving some races now for the last hour

 

It's a bit slow, but i haven't had 503s for a while now.

 

I had it 10s ago

 

Not been able to get onto a track once, neither single nor mp.
Thats Raceroom for you, the best and the worst of the rest all rolled into one

 

I saw 30+ in the mp lobby so I guess it works better for some.

Same, resorted to drinking and watching the avengers with the mrs, hopefully it'll work tommorow.

 

Unplayable for me always the milk screen and and nothing goes on.
Would rather have my old raceroom back ....

 

I can get into game easy enough, wont go past the loading track screen tho.

At this point after a patch release ive normally got something to comment on, complain or praise or whatever.
I have absolutely nothing to say about this patch at all.


Very slow loading, memory issue? Im watching task manager as the game loads and is very very slowly loading into ram at about 1.5mb a sec.

Edit, game crashed after 10 mins loading, just started again and watched task manager usage goes into game fine, selected mp server, Nords mixed class, selected car, and off we went, watching task manager the game loads fine and fast to about 2gb loaded into ram, then that clears\drops to 1.5gb and then the very slow loading starts.

Missing files, verification?


Network is at a constant 56kb download 0 up.

 

I was told this is intended. Not sure why though. Perhaps licensing reasons.

That said, the full pack is cheaper than buying 2 of the cars separately, and overall is a good price in my opinion, so there's that

 

I haven't been following along much. But doesn't work for me. Has there been some sort of announcement or hot fix from sector 3

 

Hello S3 Devs,

I have observed over the last few years that after a major update or awesome deal the servers always have issues. I believe this to be a case of initial over-population of the servers due to an influx of racers. Once the number of racers decreases the servers go back to normal speeds.

Is there a way you guys can get temporary extra bandwidth from the cloud so after an awesome deal that has many new racers and old racers returning the servers don't crap themselves? I understand why you don't physically buy heaps of extra servers, as when spike of users comes down the servers will be way under utilised.

Keep doing the good stuff your doing, it's awesome!

So what do we learn for the future patches?

Patchday = many fun in s3 forum
Patchday2 = more fun in s3 forum
Patchday3 = the fun is over, 503 is gone and wait for the next patch ( & fun)

 

Its been like that almost every patch...but I guess it takes longer for some to learn

 

....see it as a resumee

 

I did never experience this behaviour after a patch before... In the end it seems to be working now, at least for me.
