This is what helped me a bit. Menu is still very slow but I can drive a car again.. https://forum.sector3studios.com/in...room-has-been-updated-hotfix.1475/#post-15275
Menu are terribly slow because all the menus, even the offline ones, need a connection with the servers. That makes no sense.
Seriously Sector3 ... Every Patch it's the same thing .... 1 week with some problems . Fix it ! We had delete 2 races in our league ...
Patience everyone... implementing the patch on a relative handful of beat-tester PCs is vastly different to implementing it on thousands and thousands of PCs all over the world simultaneously. There will always be unexpected configurations and issues. Always. I'm frustrated with some of it too, but there aren't many games where the developers are so engaged with the community and they have said they will keep working on it 'til it's sorted. Not sure we can ask for much more.
Bollox, patience, its an online only game that hasnt worked where i am for three days, simply not good enough, if it was cheap or free then i might understand, but its one thing after another, and its far from free. £60ish so far, for that i should be able to disconnect from the internet play when i want and update when i want not be dictated to as to when i can and cant play.
The problem is there portal .... Why they use that again ??? They linked R3E with Steam ( with lots of bugs again , error 503 / 505 etc ... ) , last major patch , I can't play during 1 month !!! And no admin answer for my prob , so ... And that's like that until the first bêta realese .
Give me my £60 back! Doh! Im up at 5, on my way to work at 6 and back around 6, i have a couple of spare hours before wash rinse and repeat, damn right im pissed i cant make use of the money i invested in this game, smart arse fucking pictures\comments do nothing really do they, apart from making you feel fucking smart!!!
I apologise, I was not trying to offend, inflame things or feel smart. I was just trying to lighten the mood a little. Missed the mark obviously.
sometimes you have to tear something down to create something better. I'm very satisfied with the outcome at the moment.
Yeah...yeah...patience...every single time that patience...maybe it's time do do something about those constant problems which could be resolved by making game internet independent? Than patience would be irelevenat....but thanks for trying to mood up
