The new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo is coming to RaceRoom! 585 HP (depending on BOP) 305 km/h Top Speed V10 engine Six-speed transmission The GT3 car is the top product in the Audi Sport customer racing program. This car is an evolution of the very successful R8 LMS GT3, Audi has been developing for the past few years. The car has been revised in 2019 to improve its drivability and aerodynamics. The R8 LMS is competing in many international GT championships. PS: Careful observers will also notice an updated Bathurst track in these images! Coming to RaceRoom this December!
Awesome. Always nice to see the updated model of the R8. Still hoping to see the new Bentley GT3 in R3E.
Weird how happy one can be about a fifth r8 coming to the game but this may be the best christmas present i couldve asked for
No offense to the folks that are looking forward to this car but I would really like to see some cars yet to be in the sim already. I mean there currently are six by my count of this body style. And I won't get started on the 911. How about rounding out some of the classes that currently have one or two entries?
Some cars have to be made for contractual reasons I suppose, linked to the eSports series run by RR I agree with the sentiment though, would be good to have some series filled out, g4 for example.
jimagine que la pression des pneus est modifiable sur celle ci contrairement à d'autres catégorie ou elles est absente!!!!!!
VW + Audi's last hurah in racing is fine by me, especially the Scirocco but are there any other physics updates coming, I'm thinking GT3 tyres here or else it's revolution rather than evolution, I can't keep the present R8 pointing forwards, so is the Evo on the same tyre model? Why does the GT4 get the 7 speed box, yet the Evo still has 6 or do I send this to Audi, just seems strange. There's not been much movement on the UI frontend lately either, any news there? Does the new Bathurst get the hotel? It's of course no surprise that I put all announced content higher on my priority list than this latest R8, this release just means I won't drive the older variants, so no new car really, just the old one updated but the GT2 & GT4 versions are most welcome. Shame my poor Grandson shits out on Christmas this year, oh well, maybe next year sunshine!!
Seriously you guys need to stop. Our expectations will be too high for every release going forward now!
https://www.racedepartment.com/thre...irmed-for-december.194143/page-3#post-3304231 Because GT4 are closer to the road cars and are using tech, closer to it, with slight modification. The M4 GT4, for example, has also 7 gears and it's basically more for economy, than for anything else, not needed in a higher class race car, aiming for performance. You barely utilize the 6th gear with GT3 cars on many tracks, a racing gear box on them is effectively more usable with 6 gears, especially with the fixed transmission ratio.
Very good news, die Audi family is complete with the R8 versions. Now I hope these cars are better driveable than the current R8 GT3, I have some problems with this car since the update last year with physics. So I´m driving Porsche and BMW in GT3 races.
