Touring Classics Pack has been released!

Get it on the RaceRoom Store now

If you liked the DTM 1992 cars, you will love this!

Right now the BMW M3 E30, Volvo 240 Turbo & the BMW 635 CSi are already available in store.

But soon the Touring Classics will finally get the attention they deserve!

    That includes:

    1. Updated physics
All of the cars have been revisited and brought up to our current standards of simulation.
While keeping the characteristics of each model, they also underwent a process of "Balance of Performance" to not only ensure equal winning chances in each car of the class, but also to prepare them for the upcoming Multiclass Feature.
For example you will be able to mix the DTM 92 cars with the Touring Classics and thereby add additional variety to an already awesome grid!

    2. Full grid of iconic liveries

    3. A brandnew car:

    The Nissan Skyline GTR R32

    aka "Godzilla"

That´s right! Another classic from the unforgotten Group A era.
The R32 GT-R was first produced in 1988 and dominated the Japanese Touring Car Championship during the 1990´s, but also raced in the Australian Championship, where it won the classic Bathurst 1000 race.

Will the BMW 635 be fixed upon release? Right now it's not usable in any other difficulty besides get real.

just curios how BOP is made, I suppose you have a model of the car with real datas: power, weight, grip of tires, drag and so on...how are balanced perfomances reached? only changing the power of the engine, or......?

    @oppolo
The BOP is being done very similar as in real life, mostly by adding weight and restricting the engines.
The Reason is of course to provide the best user experience across a broad variety of cars.

A Ford Sierra would have been awesome in this class too.

That's awesome news! A BOP was definitely needed. Finally I'll be able to win races in my lovely boxy Volvo!!

With that being said, what's really needed is the Sierra RS500 ;)

Wait, when you're talking about BoP, that's inside the SAME class, right? Your wording is not clear.

Because if you want to implement a BoP balance for multiclass...well, that'd be dumb, since having different performing classes on track is, indeed, the point of multiclass
