    Well, all the recent patchnotes show that rendering work atm is focused on getting VR right. After that's done, hopefully tscreens will be next in line.

    Well they can't introduce it and then leave it, gotta sort out the creases before moving onto the next thing.
    But I'm pretty positive for triple support once VR is in a satisfactory state.

    Had this happen last night on Lausitz. Car spun facing the wrong way. He was disqualified but the car stayed there for all the laps causing a yellow each time cars came around. I can post logs/etc if they are needed.

    But the cut track warning was unrelated?
    Yea, log files would be good.

    The cut track was because I was an idiot. The accident happened on the first lap and the car was never removed, thus prompting the yellow each time. Can you help me knock the dust out of my brain and let me know where log files are once more? Thanks Christian.

    Two perhaps dumb questions here
    1. Does that Adaptive AI reset after a big patch? I noticed with WTCC16, I was 3-4 seconds faster by the end of the race than most of them. Prepatch with all other classes, the battles were much tighter.
    2. What is the difference between Simple and Complete Flag Rules?

    Your AI file should likely never be deleted from an update, or be cleared. Only a bug would make that happen, and I have very rarely (if ever) seen that.

    WTCC AI may still be a bit WIP with some tweaks down the line. Personally, I felt they are a bit slow for the difficulty % I use.

    I usually use 110% with every class and this gives me a good challenge, but with the WTCC 16 cars, this is a bit easy and they feel slow to me. So, you could just be a lot faster than them and need to increase their difficulty.

    Dont quote me on this... but I believe "simple" is the same as the previous "black only" flag we used to have.

    Simple doesnt have the blue/yellow/white flags.

    Thanks Nate, I'll take the Adaptive Off when I run WTCC16 and run it at a set number as a workaround.

    You may enjoy referring to this site - click. (edit: click on a specific race, then scroll down the following page to "results" then you can view the real world times for races and qualifying)

    The AI does pretty well to match real world times, and you yourself can see how the cars perform against their real world counterparts.

    A lot of testing went into these cars comparing them against qualy/race times, and I think the end result is pretty solid.

    One thing that I think is pretty cool, is that you can push really hard in qualifying, but if you keep up that same pace over an entire race (~16 laps on most WTCC tracks or ~25-30 mins) then your tires will be completely shot and you might get a puncture near the end. So you will really need to manage your tires and perhaps drive more thoughtfully if you are trying to complete a full race distance. :)

    I dont know specifically what AI difficulty % corresponds to a specific lap time on all the tracks, but Im sure there will be a nice middle ground somewhere in there.
