@Bob81 Looks like artifacts from the light shafts coming from the sun.
Today i drove again the 911 Cup on NOS leaderboard, did around 10 laps. I got used to it and love it. I think now i got slowly an idea of what the car is capable of.
After NOS i decided to throw that beast around bathrust. Sadly i experienced the same issue i described on Red Bull Ring, some pages before. But now that i knowing the car better, i think it is more a FFB issue, its like it is oversensitive. All in all i think that the car behaves still reasonable but in the ffb i got the constand feel of being over the limit. Uphill i dont feel what the front i doing (only bumps) and i got the feeling that the rear will constantly swing around, its a bit like the boaty feel from the early R3E days. Yes the car is beasty but more on lift of and not on throttle. In the downhillsection i didnt crash at all, but like i said uphill is horror.
What update is next in the pipe line? GT3 perhaps?
A fix for the ai
I'd like to see an update of the Touring Classics class
I occasionally try these out but after all the updates to the other cars these just feel lifeless to me
That’s in the works according to Alex.
Hotfix plus some further updates is out: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/raceroom-patchnotes-thread.261/page-6#post-183024
Thanks for the update! Wondering though if something messed up the 2018 AI, as I'm 3.5sec faster at zandvoort, at 102 difficulty.... and I'm not a fast driver :O Though I haven't tried it much in this lap, as this was random. Will try other tracks.
Keep it that way.....it feels better
Tried again at Brands, and have to keep it at max at 120 to stay mid-field. I was expecting 100 to be like high already, unless that's really how it's designed.
I have never had so much close racing fun as I just had at RBR with the WTCR 2019
It felt like the AI was had consistent strength in all corners
Short info about the WTCR carnames, the '19 Alfa Romeo should correctly named as Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR. The last year model should be Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV TCR
So after this latest update, are the 2018/2019 WTCR cars now on the exact same physics? In other words, can they be raced fairly together as one big class?
"Fixed the Lada Vesta TCR (esport competition) that mistakenly had received WTCR 2019 physics in yesterday's update."
Wait, is there a TCR version of this car in the game now?
There has been for a while but only in a certain competition
tried the wtcr 19 class and it is really well done in terms of physics
but as regards the value of the pilots, it seems to me to be a bit random
Grid bottom riders in reality, here in the game compete for victory
instead the wtcr 18 is well balanced in terms of driver performance
it only happens to me?
I thought that's the TC1 version.
Well i dont even know what tc1 is so it might be that as well
I just know that lap time wise it seems to be matching wtcr, so i just assumed itd fit in somewhere there
I think its TC1 car model with TCR physics. Can't say if this is made specifically for it or it has physics copied and pasted from other TCR car
Congrats to the devs on fixing the WTCR ai
I did 4x 5lap races on each of the 11 below tracks last night and only had problems with two of them.
Each of these tracks were unplayable prior to the patch so you have solved 80% of the issue.
Portima and Imola are a pathway issue; if I try to drive where the ai drive in those corners I would roll, spin and crash as well.
I look forward to you tweeking those corners
