    Hotfix

    Multiplayer

    • Fixed an issue where “Race Finish Duration” setting couldn’t be saved to values above 30.
    • Fixed the disappearance of the “Non Ready Pitlane Start Delay” setting.
    Sounds, Cameras, Physics, AI:
    • Fixed the broken behavior of some 4WD cars
    • Nordschleife 24H layout : AI speed tweaks for Turns 1 and 2
    • Zolder : New set of TV Cameras

    My experiance with this patch so far: No error problems so far but slow menus that was fixed yesterday is clearly back for me...

    The menu speeds have definately increased for me, and i've had no 503's all day.. Oh well! We're heading into the right direction so it's all gonna be fine!

    whats up with those reflections on high? got low-res stuttering cubemap. i still have over 50-60% gpu power left on my 980ti with max settings.

    I changed properties of each RRRE.exe (3), set them to run in administrator mode, and then the menus were as quick as they should be. Tested only once so this could be just a coincidence, mind...

    DTM 2016 and GT3 working great, 2 race and reverse grid, 503 gone but menu's still a little slow.:sunglasses:

    Folks, anyone else experiencing a massive drop in fps in Nords after the patch? R3E iteration of this track is one of my alltime-allsim favourites and now with no matter how low graphics setting, I can't get more than 25 fps or less. Prior to the patch, I could play it safely on a dualmon setup with 3200×1080 resolution and decent settings, now it fails on a single mon with 1920×1080. Any ideas? I wanna get my fav track back :/

    a few impressions after a few races vs. ai

    an old time bug, even with the new cams on suzuka, at 130R the camera switches to the cam at the bridge. it seems 2 track-cams use 1 cam
    the aggression of ai in races is good for the (non-)existing damage-model, coz i do the same (why not, my car doesn't get damaged:D)
    when the ai infront of me slows downs after a corner, coz his frontman slowed down etc. etc. especially with group5-cars which have a very long brake-distance it's not possible anymore, even with fastest reaction, to brake and turn so fast to not touch the frontman.... the bad thing is, my car is spinning and you land outside of the track and the race is basically over. :(

    A couple of things I would like to see are the ability to Run 2 races but only have 2 pit in one also adjustable ai in practice sessions so that you can tweak the ai per track in a championship.

    5 days in and still having troubles, Nords refuses to load, delays in the menu, content server errors.

    Have you tried to run the exes as administrator? (see above)

    No, shouldnt need to, it worked fine before the patch as it is, any other track ive tried loads fine. Admin privelige would be required for all not just one.

    another thing to add to the AI, again Group5. Even though i lowered the strength to 95% the AI has a very late brake-point, i can't use the same brake-point they use which would also explain why they constantly hit my back if a car is close behind me. (chevrolett group5 car i used)

    @JJJ:
    that difference in braking behaviour is due to the difference "Chevrolet vs other Group5 cars" rather than "AI vs Human". Cars like the BMW 320i and the Zakspeed Capri are a lot lighter than the Chevy and have a shorter brake zone. You can check this driving the Capri and you will se how the AI in the Chevy also needs to brake a lot sooner ;)
