    The GT1 is a good idea, and I guess the Zonda Cup is as well, but for me there no connection feel from the front end wheels/tyres, feels abit icey wicey to me.

    strange. that doesn't match my real life race spectator experience, first corners massive squeal, next laps only occasionally. maybe it's cold and wet weather in the video and they just don't come up to a good temperature. :p the old squeal sound only came up with cold brakes if I remember correctly.

    Even at the risk of sounding irrational, I'll stick to the audio-visual evidence for now. ;)

    next try:
    warm brake discs don't tend to vibrate as much and dampen the vibration due to not having the solid structure of cold discs.. :D

    Do I really have to dig out my old Formelsammlung/Tafelwerk? ;)

    Jokes aside, that's just how it is, and I'm the last person (well maybe second to last after Karting06) who's happy about it.
    I think what might actually be the case is that the drivers need to brake harder during the first lap(s) cause they're bunched up tighter, getting in unpredictable situations more often. When the field spreads out over time, they don't need to do that so often.

    Couple laps into the race (look at the GTE cars), no squeal:



    I'm ok with squealing and we have the slider, but in my memory it really didn't happen with warm brakes all the time. Maybe my brain plays tricks on me.

    When we have a car filter for offline races? Specialy the very old gt3 cars? I am waiting sooo long for a simple thing like a car filter

    Totally agree. On street cars (performance/sport pads) they will often go silent or quiet down once heated. But high metallic race pads squeal basically all the way through a session. Usually on lighter weight race cars (smaller pads/rotors) it’s obnoxious and from start to finish.

    Great work, Motegi is an interesting track for sure. You deserve more success.

    The RUF GT1 sounds great and a bit of a beast to keep in line and the FRj is fantastic, semi controllable 4 wheel drifting, ding dong!

    Just tried a few cars round Montegi, which were all fine apart from the Porsche GT3, when watching back in replay in TV cam the car sound was all over the place, nothing seemed to match up as it was going round the track, also the sound was cutting out as well, only happened with this car so far..

    I found one little bug in the audio menu.
    The slider for the noise of the tires apparently has no function now (I have game language on german so I don't know the correct english term). The "Abriebgeräusche" slider.

    Now there are two sliders for the brakes: "Bremsgeräusche Volume" (I think translated to braking noise volume) and "Bremslautstärke" (brake volume). The one called "Bremsgeräusche" now adjusts the tire squeal volume.

    Are you sure it is 'bremsgeräusche' that controls the tire squeal? the 'Bremslautstärke' is wrongly translated from 'skid volume' as in tire skidding. so that controls the tire squeal from locking up etc.

    Checked the Porsche GT3 on a few other tracks and it's the same problem, so seems to be related to the car's audio..

    Yep, that's known and already been fixed internally. Should be hotfixed asap. (Hopefully tomorrow.)

    @sbtm I just checked all those settings one at a time with the GTR1 Nissan @Motegi and they all worked as intended. But the German descriptions are a bit misleading, so we'll think of some clearer strings.
